WATERDROP WD-G2-W: The first two letters ‘WD‘ indicates the water filter is manufactured by the waterdrop company, ‘G2‘ indicates it is a water filter of the G2 series and it uses 2 composite filters to produce RO water. The last letter ‘W‘ says it is available in white color. By the way, it is also available in black.
WATERDROP WD-G2-P600-W indicates it is a water filter made by the waterdrop company under the g2 series. ‘P600‘ indicates it can supply 600 gallons (2,271.25 liters) of filtered water per day. The last letter ‘W‘ in the model number means it is available in white.

2. Low Drain Ratio of G2 RO Systems
Unlike the storage tank-type reverse osmosis system, the tankless waterdrop RO system has an impressive low drain water ratio.
WD-G2 has a drain ratio of 1:1, meaning it can provide 1 liter of pure drinking water out of 2 litter unfiltered water. Due to its low water waste ratio, it is one of the most efficient RO systems.

3. Composite RO Filter Used In Waterdrop Reverse Osmosis System
Composite filters are undeniably the most important of any water filter. The MRO filter can last for 24 months & remains effective up to 2200 gallons (8,327.91 l) of filtered water. It’s reasonably priced and costs under the hundred-bucks range.

P6MRO Filter: The second composite filter used in G2-P600-W is P6MRO. It is an upgraded version of the MRO Filter. While the MRO filter has 3layers, this one has 4 layers. Those are: Sediment PP membrane + RO Membrane + Activated carbon block + PET pleated membrane.
The P6MRO filter also costs under the hundred-bucks range and has a filter life of 24 months. It can be used to get 3300 gallons (12,491.86 l) of filtered water.
Because of that extra filter, the P6MRO filter is more capable of water filtering than its predecessor. In that sense, WATERDROP WD-G2-P600-W will give you a higher contamination reduction rate.
4. Smart Filter Life indicator
Both the water filters of the G2 series have smart filter life indicators. The indicator keeps track of the usage of the composite filters and reminds you when it’s time to change them. The filter replacement process is a child’s play. With a twist and turn, filters can be replaced in under 30 seconds.
The indicator displays 3 different colored lights and those colored lights have different meanings.
For example, The Blue colored light means all the composite filters are working perfectly.
